Today I'll show you how to flash a custom touch based recovery on your HTC Desire C....
It's TeamWinRecoveryProject [TWRP] for HTC DESIRE C!
Without further a do...
Requirements-
- NOT WINDOWS 8.1! (fastboot isn't detected in windows 8.1)
- Download - Recovery
- Dowload fastboot files and extract if you don't already have it - Fastboot_files [670KB]
- ...and HTC Desire C WITH UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER
TUTORIAL-
- Go to the folder where you downloaded the recovery file... [the folder must contain fastboot files]
- Do a right click while holding shift key and open command window there...
- Now paste this code in command window-
fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.5.0.0-golfu.img - Switch off your device and pull out the battery.
- Now plug in the battery and turn it on in bootloader mode (Volume Down + Power).
- Now select FASTBOOT option with the power button...
- Plug your phone to the PC via the USB cable...
- Now just press enter and the recovery should be flashed in a couple of seconds.
- Now navigate to Reboot option and select it with the power button...
- After the restart if you wish to go to recovery follow these steps
- Repeat the "step 4" and "step 5" only...
- In the bootloader mode go to RECOVERY instead of FASTBOOT...
- If the phone boots in recovery it means its successful!!
- To reboot the device go to Recovery>>System.
