Samsung Galaxy K Zoom is officially priced and the availability information is documented, so it's all final...

Samsung recently announced it's new camera smartphone which we expected to be Galaxy S5 Zoom just like Galaxy S4 Zoom but it turned out to be Galaxy K Zoom...

It is set to be available by mid-May in Europe at a price of €499...

Strangely it will launch in Germany at a price tag of €519 i.e. €20 more than the rest of Europe and there is no explanation to this, the device will be exact same with no change...

Just for reference Sony Xperia Z2 was launched for €679 instead of €699 ...

It's main feature being the camera is a 20.7MP(auto/maual focus) camera with an aperture of F3.1-6.3 equipped with a BSI CMOS sensor, a 10x optical, image stabilization and a dual panel xenon flash... It also features a camera application specially redesigned for the new zoom which allows you to change the settings for optimum results in order to take professional grade photographs...
The front camera is just a simple 2 MP camera like any other smartphone...

Other than the camera it's not something with very impressive hardware specs but still its a nice device...
Featuring a 4.8 inch 720p Super AMOLED display (Corning Gorilla Glass 3), 2GB of RAM, an Exynos 5 Hexa system chip with 6 cores (Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex A7 and Dual-core 1.7 GHz Cortex A15), a Mali-T624 GPU, 8GB of internal memory with expandable storage up to 64GB... other additional features will be the support for LTE 800 / 850 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600 bands, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0. All this powered by a 2,430mAh removable battery...
